Our Terrific Tony-A'ki Adventure
Now Thanks to you the Legend continues and the story becomes more exciting day by day.
Tony-A'ki, The Terrific Teriyaki, was developed by Tony, in New Bern, North Carolina in 1989.
This not so ancient American Recipe was tested and refined on the corner of Middle Street, in Dixon’s Soda Shop, across the street from the birthplace of Brad’s Drink later known as Pepsi Cola.
Tony-A'ki started as a beef tip marinade and grew from there. If it was good on grilled beef tips, what about shrimp, chicken and on and on, we discovered that Tony-A'ki was great on anything!
One of our best discoveries is the Tony-A'ki Chicken Chest Sandwich™
This sandwich is a 4oz chicken breast, marinated and grilled in Tony-A'ki, glazed, then nestled in mayonnaise and snuggled in a toasted sesame seed bun.

Thousands of these sandwiches have been enjoyed, and the saga continues……..
Tony-A'ki Is fantastic as a stir-fry base combined with a bit of cornstarch.
